Logging into your College account off-site (broadband recommended)

The college uses Microsoft's Remote Desktop to enable access for users off-site.  The Remote Desktop client comes with Windows XP and Vista (accessed from Start -> Programs -> Accessories) or it can be downloaded and installed onto other platforms such as OS X or Linux.

Start the Remote Desktop client and type www.pangcoll.co.uk in the address box.

The familiar login screen is presented; log in as normal.  For more detailed help, click here

Email Mobile Phone/PDA Access

If you have a mobile phone or PDA with a browser, it is possible to access your college email using

http://mail/oma from within college grounds and using WiFi or

http://www.pangcoll.co.uk/oma from outside, using a phone connection.

If you have a smartphone or PDA running Windows Mobile or Symbian with ActiveSync, it can be configured to synchronise with College Email - see ICT staff.
